GIVING

At Kingdom Community Church we don't pass the plate around like many churches do...

not that we don't believe in giving as a part of worship... on the contrary, we believe that generosity is an important part of the worship life of all followers of Jesus Christ.

However, we really don't want it to be a focal point in our gatherings unless the Lord has specifically highlighted something we need to focus on.

Currently, due to Covid restrictions, you will find a place to give (if you have brought an offering with you to church) at the sign-in table of each of our campuses.

Most of our regular attenders choose to give online.

If you would like to give online here are our account details:

If you are unsure how much to give as a part of your commitment to Christ we recommend that you seek the Lord for an amount that sits well with your heart, and brings you peace.

There are a lot of teachings within the wider church about tithing (giving 10% of your wages), first fruit offerings (making your gift to God your first priority) and sowing a reaping.

We believe that all of these things have their place in Christian life but they should come out of relationship with God, not out of adherence to a certain rule or regulation within church life.

There is evidence in scripture in support the fact that as we honour God with our giving, He responds in kind.

As senior pastors both Shekhinah and I have found this to be true.

We both honour God with our finances through setting aside at least 10% of our wages for giving.

We have learned to trust God with our finances and make giving a priority in our lives, and we encourage all believers to do the same.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Proverbs 3:9

Honour the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.

2 Corinthians 9:11

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Proverbs 11:25

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Philippians 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.
